Is the watching of who gets to see such a movie because of ages, the content etc. At the end of the making of the film a decision is lifted as to allow scenes to be shown, its a type of modification as to contemplating the types of groups of whom could potentially watch it. This decision is made by a regional officer who overlooks the film and then decides if parts should be taken out or left. Now certification has been introduced in the making meaning if a (U) appears then its unrestricted public exhibition, if an (A) appears then its an adult movie and so on. Especially for horror films a rating has been placed on which gives us prior knowledge as to how scary it is, for example if a 95% is placed that means its a terrorific movie that left the people shaken to their cores. For example the movie censor had a percentage of 89% meaning it was rated very highly for its horror. Film certifications are in place to divide who watches what, as said people under the age of 15 arent aloud to watch thriller or horror because of bbc ratings (regulates and classification the movies into what group it shall fall into for example movies of disney are classified for the younger groups, this is because the group expect a light and ´predictable movie). But as for horror films, they give us a unpredictable event leading to the group in whihc seeks teh adrelaine and to feel scaderdom leading to a certitifaction to the youn adult groups, whihc they can watch beacuse it targetes the interests suhc as ¨suspense, terror, mystery¨.
